Your Socorro Adventure Starts Here

[raw]

Socorro trips are 8 nights, 9 days. We also offer 10 night combo trips that combine diving at Socorro with the best of the Sea of Cortez, and 15 night combo trips with the great white sharks of Guadalupe Island. During the regular trip you can expect 22 dives plus a thrilling night snorkel with silky sharks hunting under the ship’s deck lights (unless it is a full moon – the silkies don’t like to cooperate when it is a full moon).

Your trip starts at the main dock in Cabo San Lucas where you will board the Nautilus Explorer, Nautilus Belle Amie, or the Nautilus Under Sea. They are custom designed for divers to the highest possible level of comfort and safety with a layout that utilizes every square foot of available space. Everything is first class and certified to the same exacting international SOLAS and ISM standards as the largest cruise ship.

More than mantas and dolphins. The sharking at Socorro ain’t bad either. See up to 10 different species of sharks including schooling hammerheads, silkies and white tip sharks.

Our treat! Relax in the hot tub after dives. Join us for wine & cheese party. At night, head up to the sun deck and enjoy a movie under the stars. Snacks are offered all day long, and we also have a great selection of spirits and wine.

With over 25 years of operational experience, we have learned that the safest alcohol policy is to restrict guests from bringing their alcohol onboard. We provide a wide selection of beer, wine and alcohol from the ship’s bar at very reasonable prices. Please contact our operations office 60 days prior to your trip for a variation from this policy otherwise the crew will politely but firmly restrict all guests on your trip from bringing their own alcohol onboard.

Why Guests Love Nautilus Liveaboards

Shaun was a great captain and kept us informed all the time of what was happening and the hostessess and divemasters were great. JJ made sure that everyone was comfortable with dive plans and adjusted accordingly. Food was fresh and fantastic….although scuppered any plans I had to lose weight doing 4 dives a day! ⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆

I would consider this trip again for several reasons; (1) the crew, (2) the spectacular diving of Roca Partida and (3) the experiences involving the manta rays. ⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆

I was a little apprehensive to try Nautilus. I’m glad I did, and glad to have made many new friends. I’ve been on 7 liveaboards now, and this is the first time I have seen the Captain participate and interact with the other crew members and guests. Captain Gordon was present every day and helped others in every aspect. All crew members were very helpful and friendly, and most of all, genuine and sincere. I would readily recommend Nautilus Explorer to anyone looking for an extra special dive trip. ⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆
